About this outreach

In July 2023, Healtorch Foundation Limited actively participated in Cervical Cancer Awareness Month by implementing a comprehensive awareness campaign. Our activities included social media engagement, radio and TV education talks, the publication of an informative book, and an outreach event at Kitala SSS in Entebbe.

Activities Conducted:

A dedicated team from Healtorch Foundation engaged a group of approximately 30 women in an interactive and informative session. The session covered the following key topics:

  1. Social Media Campaign:
  2. Regular posts, infographics, and videos about cervical cancer prevention, symptoms, and treatment.

    Interactive Q&A sessions to engage our online audience and address their concerns.

  3. Radio and TV Education Talks:
  4. Featured in various radio shows and TV programs to discuss cervical cancer, its impact, and prevention methods.

    Reached a broad audience, increasing public awareness about cervical cancer.

  5. Publication of a Book:
  6. Authored and published "Cervical Cancer, the Enemy We Can Defeat."

    Distributed copies to the public to provide in-depth information and promote preventive measures.

  7. Outreach at Kitala SSS, Entebbe:
  8. Conducted an educational session for high school students about cervical cancer.

    Covered topics such as the causes, symptoms, prevention, and the importance of early detection.

    Distributed copies of our book to the students for further reading and awareness.

The cervical cancer awareness campaign had a substantial impact on the community
