Dr. Muwanguzi Shadrack is a skilled and accomplished Ugandan doctor with a passion for research, innovation, and promoting good health practices. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from Busitema University and is the proud founder and CEO of Healtorch Foundation Limited.
He is also the founding President of the Busitema University Research and Innovation Association, and through his leadership, Dr. Muwanguzi has spearheaded various initiatives to advance scientific discovery and promote innovative solutions to health challenges. His dedication to health promotion is evident through his involvement in numerous activities across Uganda, including the production of hundreds of health education videos available online.
Driven by a deep interest in research and innovation, Dr. Muwanguzi has pursued additional training and certifications in scientific writing, communication, publication, and Implementation Science from prestigious institutions such as Universiteit Antwerpen, the University of Washington, and AuthorAid. Alongside his medical expertise, he possesses valuable skills in graphics design, video editing, and proficiency in using Microsoft packages and the Mendeley citation tool.
